  • Softens and conditions
  • Provides slip and shine to hair
  • Lightweight
  • Non-staining and non-browning
  • Silicone Free, Residue Free
How is this different?

Clarity

Our oil excludes amber-coloured oils in the formula, which means hair remains free from the potential of staining and browning. Some amber-coloured oils can stain hair with use over time, causing a "browning" effect. The clarity of our oil is beneficial for both blondes and brunettes (especially ash) looking to preserve their hair colour and tone, whether natural or dyed. Ultraviolet also includes a hint of violet pigment, a hue known to enhance and maintain hair colour vibrance.

Silicone Free

Some may prefer to opt out when choosing a hair oil, particularly if avoiding sulphates in shampoos. The reason is, regular use of non-soluble silicones may leave a residue that can build up in hair over time. If not removed regularly with sulphates in shampoo, residue can clog the scalp and weigh down hair strands. Shampoos with sulphates are not optimal to use regularly, because this ingredient is suspected to cause protein loss in hair, leaving it vulnerable to breakage. This dilemma is what inspired us to offer a lightweight oil without silicone. Ultraviolet is lightweight and residue free, leaving hair supported and soft with nourishing ingredients.

Key Ingredients

Coco-Caprylate - The oil's base for lightweight conditioning and touchable softness.

Tsubaki Oil - Cold pressed from Japan. Known for its strengthening and shine-enhancing abilities.

Squalane - Promotes elasticity, leaving hair stronger and less prone to breakage.

Blue Algae Oil - High in Vitamin F, provides essential fatty acids. Prevents dryness and brittleness by nourishing the hair shaft and sealing in moisture.

Lightweight and actually soaks in

This oil surprised me — it doesn’t just sit on top of my hair like a lot of others I’ve tried. It actually absorbs and leaves my hair looking smoother without feeling greasy. A little goes a long way, which I appreciate.

Helps with shine and softness

My hair can get a bit dull in between washes, and this oil brings back some shine without making it feel product-heavy. I’ve used it on both damp and dry hair and it works great either way. It’s subtle but makes a difference in how polished my hair looks.

Great for dry ends

I only use a couple drops on my ends and it makes a noticeable difference. The frizz calms down and my hair feels softer. I’ve also noticed less breakage since using it. It doesn’t weigh things down at all, which is hard to find in oils.

Nice everyday oil

It smells good, works well, doesn't contain silicone and doesn’t make my hair look oily — what more can you ask for? I use it before blow drying and sometimes after to smooth flyaways. It adds a nice finish without being too much.

Blonde must-have

My blonde tends to go dull fast, and I swear this oil helps keep the tone in check. I’ve been using it on damp hair after showering and it adds just enough shine without making my hair heavy. It’s become part of my routine now.
